Hilltop Hideaway is located on 3.8 peaceful, private acres, but just 5 minutes from the fabulous shopping, swimming and dining in downtown Wimberley. Sit on the rooftop deck as the sun sets, soak in the private hot tub, roast marshmallows with the kids around the fire, let the Hill Country breezes gently rock you in a hammock, have your morning coffee on the deck while watching the deer graze, grill up dinner on the BBQ, and soak up the slow paced country life.

Hilltop Hideaway belongs to a sweet Wimberley couple that lovingly created this unique retreat with their own kids in mind. Many vacation rentals advertise being kid-friendly, but this home truly makes it a magical experience! The kids enter the upstairs “shark tank” loft through the mouth of a shark, where they’ll find a queen sized futon, play area with toys, and twin bed. It’s the perfect spot for a vacation slumber party!

The adults will enjoy the spacious downstairs area with a recently remodeled kitchen, deep wrap-around porch with hammocks, brand new hot tub, screened in porch room, rooftop deck, and the serenity of the Hill Country. The master bedroom has a king bed with a private door to the back deck and hot tub. There is another bedroom with a queen bed, and a third bedroom with a full/twin bunk bed. In the second living area, there is also a twin day bed with a twin trundle. There are two full bathrooms downstairs, one with a walk-in shower and the other with a bath tub.

One of the most unique features of Hilltop Hideaway is that it’s truly a green vacation home. This property runs entirely on rainwater collection that is filtered and purified for guests. No plastic water bottles needed here! The owners provide recycled paper products and use environmentally friendly soaps, detergents, and cleaning products, as well as full onsite recycling. Guilt-free traveling at its best!

Rainwater disclaimer: This house runs entirely on rainwater. That means conservation is key! We must maintain enough water in our tanks for future guests, so we ask everyone to help out by making sure faucets are turned off completely, showers are efficient, and no water is wasted. What a great learning opportunity/science lesson for the kids!

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLING, RESCHEDULING, CHANGING RESERVATIONS
Your booking deposit is non–refundable.
Additions, changes or cancellations must be in writing via email to reservations@texashillcountryreservations.com.
Any change to a reservation is considered a cancellation and may be subject to cancellation policies.
Any change to your reservation will incur a $25.00 change fee.
You are welcome to add guests, pets, and additional nights subject to property rules and capacity and payment of any additional charges.
Any reduction in the length of stay, number of guests or pets, within 30 days of arrival is non–refundable.
Failure to locate the property, appearance of the property, and access to the property, are not grounds for refund or cancellation.
Within 30 days of arrival the reservation is non refundable unless we can get the property re –booked.
If we can re –book the property for the dates originally reserved, All Wimberley Lodging will refund the amount of the reservation less the booking deposit.
Within 30 days of arrival you may not switch properties unless we can re–book the original property.
Within 30 days of arrival you may not change reservation dates or term of reservation unless we can re–book the original dates.
There are no refunds due to shortened stays or ruined expectations because of weather conditions.
Specialty packages are non–refundable if cancelled within 48 hours of arrival. Massages are non–refundable if cancelled within 7 days of arrival.
CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 24 HOURS OF ARRIVAL ARE 100% NON-REFUNDABLE.

Deposit Policy
MAKING A RESERVATION

You must be of legal age to make this reservation and agreement (25).
You are the sole point of contact for this reservation.
You agree that all information is true and accurate.
You agree to pay for all services, fees, and taxes.
You agree that you verified the accuracy of your arrival and departure dates.
You agree to the cancellation and liability policy.
Upon making a reservation you will be charged a $100.00 NON–REFUNDABLE BOOKING DEPOSIT that is applied to your balance.
Final payment is due within 30 days of arrival.
If your arrival date is within 30 days of the date you make your reservation, full payment is due at the time of booking.

REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSITS

Some Property Owners require a security deposit for their property. This deposit will be returned to your credit card approximately 10 days after departure less any charges created by Tenant or Tenant's Guests use of the property (additional guests, pets, damage, excessive cleaning, etc.).
